At Kentico, we build a product that empowers digital agencies and businesses around the world to deliver exceptional online experiences. To ensure our cloud services remain highly available, performant, and resilient, we’re looking for someone to take ownership of operational reliability.
What you’ll do?
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of development, operations, and support—keeping critical systems running smoothly while continuously improving how we monitor, automate, and respond to issues.
Here’s what your day might include:
- Monitoring the health of our systems and applications to proactively detect issues.
- Troubleshooting incidents, identifying root causes, and participating in post-incident reviews.
- Automating routine operations and monitoring to reduce manual effort and human error.
- Contributing to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Analyzing incidents and performance data to find opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating with other teams to strengthen the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure.
What you bring?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid scripting and programming skills (e.g., PowerShell, TypeScript).
- Understands operating systems, networking, and system administration.
- Has experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Knows how to use tools like Terraform and practices Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Has worked with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understands how distributed systems work and how to optimize them for performance and resilience.
