At Kentico, CSR is more than just talk

Protecting our planet.

We’re passionate about sustainability at Kentico. Since 2009, we’ve planted over 4000 trees around Brno during our biannual Trees for Bugs event, helping to green the area and combat climate change. Inside the office, we’ve taken big strides with recycling, an in-office composter, and a switch from plastic soda bottles to eco-friendly bio-syrups from local suppliers.

We also champion green commuting with our bike room—a unique perk in our office park. Plus, our baby clothing-sharing program helps reduce waste and supports young families by promoting a circular economy. With all these initiatives, we’re making a lasting, positive impact on our environment.

Making a difference locally.

Kentico is deeply invested in supporting our local community. We put the money saved from switching to electronic holiday cards and donations from our baby clothes swap towards buying equipment for the Children’s Hospital in Brno.

When disaster strikes, we’re quick to act. After a tornado devastated southern Moravia, we donated 1 million CZK and sent a busload of volunteers to help out for a week. During the Ukraine crisis, we rallied to organize a fundraiser for the refugee center at Mendel University in Brno.

We’re also committed to digital inclusion by donating unused IT equipment. Recently, we helped equip a new IT classroom at TEGA Blansko High School with much-needed monitors. And let’s not forget our Brno Zoo volunteers, who help maintain enclosures and assist with repairs, all while enjoying the company of some fantastic animals.

We stay active in supporting causes like ADRA and Světluška too, participating in charity runs and donating blood to make a real difference.

Empowering the next generation.

At Kentico, we’re all about shaping the future. Our Kentico Academy, although currently on hold, was created to teach digital skills and demonstrate our dedication to education.

We also offer exciting programs like T-Excursions and QA for a Day, which give high school students a taste of the professional world. These initiatives highlight our commitment to mentoring and preparing the next generation for success.

Our experts also share their knowledge through university lectures and conferences on topics like cybersecurity and UX design, helping bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Nurturing a healthy work culture.

We believe in keeping our team happy and healthy. That’s why we offer on-site yoga, Pilates, and high-intensity Dark Side Movement workouts to help reduce stress and promote well-being.

In 2016, we were honored with the "Healthy Office" award, recognizing our efforts to create a positive work environment. 

And if you haven’t already heard... We also offer unlimited vacation time as well as dedicated innovation periods to support a balanced work-life dynamic and encourage creativity. 

Fostering a supportive workplace.

Inclusivity is at the heart of Kentico. We partner with Agapo to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. A shining example is Dominik, a young man with autism who recently brightened up our Fridays, showing us the true value of inclusion.

This collaboration reflects our broader commitment to creating a diverse and accepting workplace where everyone can thrive.
